I became a caregiver because I have compassion and empathy for the sick and/disabled who, at one point in time have been independent and now could not do most of what they used to do before. I chose to become a nurse because I love caring for the needy and I feel blessed when I see my patients/ clients doing well based on the care they receive. By being a caregiver I feel that inner satisfaction every day I render my service to the needy. A personal achievement I am proud of is that every client/patient I have cared for always wanted me around them and I am appreciated by their family members as well a s my employers.
