I became a care giver because I was a recipient once and those care givers changed my life. I want to share the love and care I received from those ladies. The joy of being able to give the recipient the independence they need with my assistance in the comfort of their home or residence of their choice. I have been a care for 15year. I generally love to care for others. I have very good transportation with full coverage auto insurance.

My mom was the first person that told me to become a Home Health Aide. She saw that I was a very caring, responsible and reliable person. When I first started working as an aide I realize that I really liked taken care of my patient. Right out the gate I realize this when my teacher took us to a nursing home to do our in service. I had the privilege to work with an elderly woman for eight hours. We talked all day about her family and I help her with her bath. The feeling that I had at the end of the day was so wonderful. I was so excited to start working with the elderly because I knew I could help them even if was just to talk with them I would be a good listener. Over the years I have come to realize that I am a very emotional caregiver because I get so attached to my patient . I love to get to know them and be as helpful as I can. So my name is Candis and I moved to New York in 2004. I was born in Guyana, South America. I am currently a mom and a wife. I love life and love taken care of my family and my patients. I moved back to Brooklyn from Westchester about four years now. I lived in Yonkers for over four years. I'm a great person and I really love my job .I will not disappoint you if you hire me. I am hard worker, a very good listener and a wonderful companion.
