I have been working with a lot of elderly people and it is a nice feeling to help people who are in need. I like being a caregiver because it's a blessing to take care of people and I am very passionate about it. I've been working as a caregiver mainly within family and friends and agencies. My achievement that I am proud of, is to make that person smile and make them feel comfortable around me. It's nice to treat one kindly and have patients when it comes to taking care of Savi. I have a valid HHA certificate. I have 5 children but they all are back home in Trinidad except for one girl who is in Canada. I live here alone in the Brooklyn area. I am an American citizen with a clean background and I like working very hard. The only problem is, I have been babysitting previously and I worked for a family for almost 6 years. Now the kids are all grown up and I am left without a job. So I am desperately looking for any positions that are available. It could be child care or taking care of seniors or any other that could relate to me. I will be more than happy to help someone and make them smile at least.
