Hello, My mother passed on june4,2015. I was her care giver, companion, gardener, chef,laundress, house keeper,personal shopper&comic relief! I have a strong need to care for others. Have previous on the job training at an extended care facility. The san juan living center.which provided award winning care to it's residents. It held extreamly high standard of care .I myself still hold that as a standard in my own caring. I consider it a privilege to care for others, and consider that caring itself as a personal and, spiritual achievement. I became a caregiver as a natural outlet for my nature. I love to help people, and, animals. It was an honor to be with my mother for 15years, firstly as a companoin, then as the years and prognosis changed, as her caregiver. I'm a loving , caring, loyal,friendly, hard working,honest person. Who is starting life over after losing her best friend. I am single,with a grown son. Therefore, I am open to any hours (do not drive, at this time).close to public transportation will be the best fit..have feet will travel! ) ..including over nights &weekends Open to any days, including, Holidays.and, am willing to travel with my person. Would like to a find position (s)... In the chula vista, national city, imperial beach areas. Willing to travel farther for the right fit. When I was applying for different kind of jobs (manufacturing, warehouse) where I had more than 15 years experience, I was offer a position as caregiver of a lovely 90 years old lady, we got along since the first moment and became her part time cg. I found out that I have that special touch so much needed when working with elderly. I treat them with respect. I know it must not be easy losing your independence and if at home, seeing "strangers" coming into your house and practically take control over your stuf. That's why I like asking them (when posible) how they like things being done in their house.
