I am Eduardo from Australia,35 year old individual in fair health & shape currently seeking people who needs some assistance & help to make their life a bit more easy-going. I very close to my grandmother & I have always been involved taking care of her since I was 16. I have been in this field since 2015.I have experienced a new found liking for caring & helping out seniors & population with other special needs . I have worked with patients with dementia,Alzheimer,schitzofrenia,Down syndrome,aids,hospice care ,quadriplegia.I am trained in using pelican lifter/hoist ,changing diapers,cleaning ,personal hygiene ,cooking . I like to be attentive & be quick -witted to get things done fast & efficiently & slow down to cater to needs of the patient . I love the sense of giving back out there in the society in my own little way . It gives me pride & a sense of achievement . I very proud of how I form a special bond with most of my patients to get things done easily & in a fun way. I am proud of my achievements of work with people with special needs ,old age & addiction I have been staying in America specially in New York City for the last two years since I moved from Australia in October 2018 ,it's been a rollercoaster ride of adventure and excitement. Back home used to work in the same field for over six years. I take pride in what I do and I definitely have a special flair for helping helping out people and looking out for their needs . I have been testing biweekly for covid & been negative so far & have been observing hygiene & safety procedures always .I don't smoke,drink alcohol or do drugs . My mom was the first person that told me to become a Home Health Aide. She saw that I was a very caring, responsible and reliable person. When I first started working as an aide I realize that I really liked taken care of my patient. Right out the gate I realize this when my teacher took us to a nursing home to do our in service. I had the privilege to work with an elderly woman for eight hours. We talked all day about her family and I help her with her bath. The feeling that I had at the end of the day was so wonderful. I was so excited to start working with the elderly because I knew I could help them even if was just to talk with them I would be a good listener. Over the years I have come to realize that I am a very emotional caregiver because I get so attached to my patient . I love to get to know them and be as helpful as I can. So my name is Candis and I moved to New York in 2004. I was born in Guyana, South America. I am currently a mom and a wife. I love life and love taken care of my family and my patients. I moved back to Brooklyn from Westchester about four years now. I lived in Yonkers for over four years. I'm a great person and I really love my job .I will not disappoint you if you hire me.
