what helps me be a great caregiver is being that i was raised all my life by my grandparents i have the uttermost respect and love for the elderly. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is they tend to become like your best friend and it becomes more than a job once you gain a connection. Also, i enjoy learning more about the elderly as in hearing there stories from when they were kids or seeing old pictures. A personal achievement i am proud of is at my old job at a senior living home i had a resident who i grew a bond with and she told me that she hasn't spoken to her daughter in 8 years. With that information i went on facebook found her daughter, and reunited the two and seeing the joy and both of their faces made me proud.
