As prep cook I worked in the main kitchen mix taking call orders for the residents who wanted someone different that wasn't on their menus make the orders and delivered them where it's needed, make desserts for that day and for the next day, also do sides goes with the meal for that day and for the next day. At the end of the night walk through the dining rooms and see if there's anything needed to be picked up or out in place. After all the dishes as washed, I cleaned out the dish room and the dish washer as instructed.
