I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. I love what I do. I started on this path when my mother got sick and I wanted the best care for her. I enjoy the happiness and smiles that I bring to the people I care for. Knowing that they are well taken care of just does something to my heart. i will not only provide the best care for you loved one, I will treat them as my own Mother, Father, Sister or brother. I have been licensed in HHA as well as CNA and CPR.
I became a caregiver to give back to the community,I saw a lot of needs that were not being met .I enjoy most everything about caregiving, although there are challenges at times, but it's most rewarding when those challenges become opportunities of learning and teaching to everyone involved. My achievements as a caregiver have been the art of listening ,not to just what is being said, but also to what's unsaid .I've also learned patience and to slow down.I'm respectful at all times, I'm kind,I'm punctual and truthful, most important I treat people the way I hope to be treated .
I believe that I am a great caregiver because this term represents two different concepts that I am passionate about: care and giving. One of the most vital characteristics of a dedicated caregiver is the ability to provide comfort to individuals who need it most, and the most rewarding byproduct of this field is the gratitude and appreciation I perceive from the patients. I became a caregiver for two main reasons; primarily because the ability to assist others appeals to me. The other reason why I entered this field is because ever since I was young, I have appreciated the efforts of caregivers around me who altruistically performed their duties for both relatives and acquaintances. There's a difference between providing a service and providing a service with a full heart and with the intent to not only perform a duty, but to also be human. I recognize that this is a stressful time in the client lives, and that during the present, it is most important to give them the attention that they require in order to heal both physically and even mentally. What I am particularly proud of in terms of my achievements are that I achieved my intended goals and wanting to obtain an Associate Degree as a registered nurse. This is something that I always wanted to accomplish, and as I am currently working on my BSN. My perseverance have surprised even myself, as I did not know that I was this passionate about my career and that expanding it to its full potential would give me so much pleas

I am a mother of three who knows how to love and care. I have cared for people of all ages disabilities diagnosis and diseases. I'm empathetic loving reliable dependable trustworthy and I take my line of work very serious and hold it close to my heart. Holistically I want to make anyone I come in contact with feel loved blessed cared for while providing optimal care.
My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-
