I became a caregiver to help elderly people complete daily activities so they can feel good about themselves. I also took care of my own mother for 10 yrs. confined in a wheel chair due to a stroke. Being a caregiver gives me a good feeling about myself for the help I give out. I am a Cancer suvivor of 25 yrs. and that is something I hold very dear to me, it was a long year of treatments and battleing and I'm proud to say I'm alive. I'm a single mom of a 19 yr. old son and I love kids, tried daycare but working with seniors is my calling I believe.
