I've always wanted to work in health care, I started as a CNA, I've always liked helping others out when I can, I like taking care of others. So that made me want to be a caregiver. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is forming a bond with an individual and being a support system for them. Helping others to be independent. A personal achievement I am proud of is overcoming being quiet and shy. I was always a shy person and very quiet. I would never speak up or try new things. I didn't like change, it made me uncomfortable. So after I graduated highschool. I got my first full time job, It was a new environment to me and new people. So I finally told myself, it's okay! I met so many new people and began to speak up more and not be so shy.

My name is Tiffany Shaw. I have been working in the health care industry now since 2012. However, my CNA license expired in 2018 so I am working as a sitter. I own a very active and mischievous 1 year old cat. I love her to death even though she is a pain in my neck. A lot... I grew up with dogs and birds too, so I'm comfortable with them as well. The only animals that I am not fan of are spiders, bees, and scorpions. I'm not afraid of snakes and will hold one that's not venomous. I do attend church regularly which does limit my availability somewhat. I'm what some people would call an old soul, so you can have a mature conversation with me and be more comfortable than you may typically be.
