I started working in senior care a few years ago and really found what I'm passionate about. I made a lot of great friends along the way. I was working in a assisted living and later moved to memory care. Working with residents with Alzheimer's and dementia was challenging but I loved it. I try to let them stay independent but help with things, they need some assistance with. I love challenging to puzzles and word searches to keep their minds shape. I'm very patient as I should be being a mother of 3. I'm great at redirecting a resident who gets upset or confused. I see my residents as family.
