Assist Senior Counselor and Residence Manager in all aspects of running the residence including staff coverage, house maintenance and upkeep, or any other assignments. Assist residents in mastering daily living skills such as maintenance of hygiene, personal space, public spaces, and other household responsibilities. Assist residents in developing and maintaining other skils such as socialization, conflict resolution, budgeting, as well as the use of community resources as assigned. Interact with residents as a means of facilitating socialization as well as to evaluate the condition of the resident. Report any significant changes in daily log and report directly to the supervisor. Prepare meals/dishes as assigned, make Residence Manager aware of any anticipated meal related needs, supplies, etc. Assist in preparation for and the running of all groups, activities, classes, trips, meals, etc. Run house groups such as cooking class, health groups, etc. as assigned. Perform and record services as assigned. Record events of shift in daily log. Supervise residents takihg medications and record in medication chart the staff assistance of medication procedures to residents. Assist in resolving issues related to the procuring of medications. Assist residents in scheduling and maintaining psychiatric, medical, dental, or other appointments.
