My care for others started when I was young, about 9. I possess a current CPR license and am a Red Cross Lifeguard, I own my own home, lovely car and am highly experienced and reliable, When your family and beloved seniors connect. I soar with joy. They deserve the care and respect they earned after their long and amazing lives. They are called the greatest generation for a reason. My parents worked FT and my mom simultaneously achieved a masters in Social Work. Whenmy grandmother fell ill with Alzheimer's she lived with us where I was her caregiver too. After college and Marriage I obtained a lucrative corporate career at a well know Long Island company where I worked for 23+ years. I volunteered at the former Avalon Nursing home in Smithtown. While visiting Dominican Republic yearly with my friend at one of her fathers homes we volunteer and donate to the local orphanage. I click with those in need, it is the most gratifying feeling in the world, I soar with happiness at accomplishing this. Families need help, they deserve help and I want improve your lives. Seniors can take their family members time 24/7 and your family deserves time of their own. I love being a trusted caretaker and have excellent references. Communication with the family is paramount, I am open to all requests, cooking, (light housekeeping, laundry ) time permitting . Running errands or a trip to the physicians is no problem.My personality is kind, caring and outgoing, I enjoy hearing about seniors full lives, of course this is confidential. I have travelled extensivel ,. I raised a beautiful son who went to Binghamton University where he completed a 1 year masters program at their School of Management. He is a CPA living in Queens. My time is now dedicated to you and your family. The respect and chemistry I have with seniors is priceless.

What a lovely family who opened their home where I great their mom before they rise. My late client was a physician who suffered with Dementia. After greeting her, in her European language I assist her getting up and ready to leave. After making her bed. I pack her clothing for the week needed after her daily, later assisted shower, on Mondays I picked up her weekly med tray and we drove off to her apartment in Port Jefferson. She has a hot breakfast or we stop for coffee & a buttered roll with her AM meds. We spend the day playing cards, do art, or checkers. Weather permitting we do a long walk, she pushes her wheelchair for support and when to tired I wheel her identifying different trees. I purchased a plant & pot we cared for, it kept her relaxed and proud. She had a hot lunch daily with midday meds, I took her to medical appointments, follow ups with specialists and to physical therapy. When she wanted rest I kept her place spotless and did daily laundry. My client had an assisted shower daily, afterward bathroom was I cleaned daily. And, when she likes I did her hair and makeup and we did go out for her manicure. I click with my , and adore them MrsS would say "what would I do without you?" Her entire apartment is cleaned weekly and I drive her back to her daughters at the close of day. If I am needed early or later I always accommodate. I am Covid negative and quarantined at that time for my seniors.
