I am a person who is has always held positions of working directly with people. These include several different positions I held in the field of Social Work, as a Domestic Violence Counselor, a Sexual Assault Counselor and a Drug & Alcohol Counselor. I have worked as an Activities Assistant in a nursing home and several private duty positions as a Companion/Caregiver. I really enjoy working with people, of all ages, but in particular the elderly. I have always had positions that made a difference in peoples lives and that is the important and rewarding part for me. One personal achievement that I am proud of is that after 20 yrs. of being out of school, I got my GED, and went on to college, and also the fact that I scored very high on my GED and all the college courses that I took. I have several personal achievements that I am very proud of. I am a person who takes great pride in my work. I am reliable, honest, a team player, a person who is intelligent and does not need a lot of supervision. I very much enjoy working directly with people and will go the extra mile if necessary, to help my clients.
