As a mother of two caring for people is what I do best. After being a stay-at-home mom for four years I wasn't sure how I was going to transition back in to the workforce. I met john while out running errands. We had a great deal in common and as I said my goodbyes he said he was looking for another care assistant. John is and individual with muscular dystorphy. When helping him during the day I run his errands, both personal and for his local business. I fix meals, do housework, laundry, shopping, helping him go to the bathroom, etc. I currently work a few night shifts a week which entails being on call when he needs to be turned. I have been trained to use his hayek machine by his respiratory therapist. In the morning I help him get showered, shaved and ready for the day. I didn't see his add. I met John through what can only be described as serendipity. It has been a tremendous blessing and I have made a great friend. Helping others is what I love to do most and I am good at it. I currently have daytime availability and would like to continue helping others. I love being around people and getting to know them. Being a mom is hands down my greatest achievement and empathy and being a nurturer are my greatest strengths.
