I am currently still employed with the local hospital where I work on the med/surg floor and assist my RN's and Physicians with any and all tasks that they may need. I check vital signs on every patient minimum 4 times daily during a 12 hr shift, diabetic level checking and management, assist with bathing, CPR and all emergency procedures, help prep for surgery, assure patient is comfortable and stable post surgical procedures, assist with specimen collection, charting, answer call lights, and help with ADLS.

I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.
