In 1997 I felt the need to help the elderly and I started passing ice and spending time for free at a nursing home. The director of the nursing home approached me and suggested I become a nursing assistant. I took the course and finally found my passion in life at the age of 22. I love helping people and it is very satisfying to make a great difference in their lives. I remember a woman who was wheelchair bound. She told me how she felt bad because she could no longer clean her house and serve her husband the way a wife should. So after her personal care was complete. I rolled up my pants so bleach would not destroy them and cleaned her house. I washed walls, cleaned the stove, fridge, light switches and everyday until it was clean. I believe in charity, love and help thy neighbors. I believe in treating people the way God says we should. I am a passionate, hard worker, determine to open my own home health business soon with these morals and more. I believe in quality care while preserving dignity of others.
