My name is Yanjanani, in short Yanja. I have 14 years of experience as a CNA/caregiver. I am hardworking, reliable, cheerful, and very passionate about my job. I love helping while growing I growup with my grandmother and I used to help her so when I grew I decided to go for CNA class so that I can inquire more knowledge. Actually, I am a Registered Nurse. Characteristics: dependable, honest, independent, optimistic, hard-working, encouraging, a problem solver, a good listener and communicator. I became interested in health care when I was 10 years old and in the hospital over Christmas having had an emergency appendectomy. My mom worked for a doctor (earning $1 an hour) and was always telling us about interesting cases and teaching us strange sounding medical terminology. Most of my nursing career was in a Medical Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University Medical Center. After that exciting career, I started working in Home Health in 2008. I enjoy working 1 on 1 with my clients, offering encouragement, seeing that they are receiving proper care, and hearing their life stories.

I believe that people need to be treated with compassion and respect regardless of their condition. I am punctual and dependable so there is never any worry if I am going to show up or not. I consider myself a good cook and maintain a clean home. I am capable of running most home health care equipment. I am also very capable of dealing with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and hospice. I manage a facility that is rated a 5 star home for 4 years in a row by the state. About me personally; I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have a 16 year old daughter. We have lived in the same house for 22 years so you might consider me a very stable person. I enjoy working outside in my flower beds, church activities, and my daughters sporting events.

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

Hello! My name is Holly Hull. I am a retired 20-yr corporate marketing/communications professional, who has chosen private in-home caregiving as my "second act." In 2008-2009, my parents were diagnosed with cancer, and my 14-yr journey as a caregiver began. I learned a lot about the caregiving industry during this time; and saw a real need for patient, compassionate, reliable and trustworthy care. I am a firm believer in customized care that caters to the patient's needs, personality, likes and dislikes. For example, my current patient does not like water on her face, so I brought in a waterproof visor that keeps water out of her face during showering. Truly, the role of caregiving is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I have helped patients navigate terminal illnesses, such as cancer and alzheimer's. My current patient is an early-onset Alzheimers patient, who was diagnosed at age 49. I have been with her and her family for 4 yrs; caring for the patient, as well as her two girls, in areas their mother could no longer assist. With their oldest daughter attending college this fall, the family has decided to move to be closer to her. Hence, why I am looking for my next patient. I find the role of caregiving an impactful way to "give back" and help others in need.
