I began this journey when my father got sick (cancer)in early 2010 until he passed in late 2011. This was not easy to go through but very rewarding being able to be there for him and realizing that I was pretty good at it. At 50 years of age and wanting to make a career change I decided to go for it and get my STNA an haven't looked back. It's the BEST decision I've ever made. I get to care for people in need and yes get paid for it but importantly love what I do and appreciated by the people I'm caring for.
