Hello my name is Keonna West and I've been a caregiver over the past 5 yrs. My personality traits are, I love helping others, I have a big heart when it comes to me helping others.I love to smile, sing and read, and getting to know my clients on a personal level. Just to see the smiles on clients faces. Knowing that I'm part of the reason a client is happy brings joy to my heart. I always put the client first no matter what, making sure his / her needs are met. Making sure they're are safe, and very well taking care of. What attracted me to being a caregiver was, seeing my kids in the NICU, and seeing all the nurses & Dr.'s take good care of my kids, all 4 of my children were premature. This is the closest thing to being a nurse which I am pushing for this upcoming yr to be a nurse.Seeing the joy the nurses and Dr. 's had on their faces, while my kids got discharged from the hospital. Really put a smile on my face as well, if it wasn't for them my children will not be here. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver, is knowing that other families can trust me & I can trust them. Gaining a friendship with my clients is the best feeling anyone can enjoy & experience. My personal achievement Im proud of was getting my certificate to pass out meditation to my clients. And getting over the fear of being in the healthcare field with Covid being around. I love what I do, so nothing can come between my job when it comes to helping others.
