Hi families! I am Kayla, currently a nursing Major at Waynesburg. Through my technical school I was able to receive my CNA license, we did our clinical in a nursing home and I loved it. I love to listen to, talk to, help and just be around the people that need me the most. Through this program I was also votes on by staff, my grades and motivation to be the nursing assist student of the year and senior of the year. I am forever grateful for that opportunity. But I am more grateful that is has led me to my forever career. Being a care giver is such a rewarding feeling and I feel as if when I am providing care, I am not actually 'working.' I like to connect with my patients on a level that is more personable then just their 'caregiver.'
