Caregiving has been my lifelong job and passion. I have spent 28 years raising a family of 6 children, 3 of which are still at home. Putting the needs of others first has always been a priority for me. In most recent years I have chosen to add caregiving to my life and continued with my career as a business owner and professor's assistant. I have chosen to do this because I feel I can always give just a bit more. My degrees in Psychology and Human Services have given me a solid understanding of human behavior and just how fragile we can be in times of need. Giving back to my community in the form of caregiving gives me the opportunity to make a difference in a person and family's life. I believe I am patient, caring, compassionate, trustworthy and I aspire to make a difference. I have also used those attributes in the positions I have held. As a professor's assistant I have the opportunity to be a support person for students professionally and emotionally. Cheering them on as they strive to achieve their goals in college. I love this! Each semester I am given the opportunity to make that difference. Providing care for those that need help so they may stay in their homes and make daily life easier is what I can do to give back. Using my skills and understanding to positively impact someone's life is something I am proud of. I was given the opportunity to care for a Dementia/Alzheimer's client for 5 years. I truly embraced each step of her illness journey providing her with understanding, care, and companionship, helping her to maintain her dignity and live her best life during those final years. On fun note, I am also a dog lover! My hobbies are spending time with my family, hiking, gardening and reading.

I'm honest caring get along with others love to take care of people I start doing it about 4 years ago and my aunt had a bad stroke that's what got me into wanting to take care of people handicap disability

I have done home care since 1980's 20yrs experience in Home care and facilities care, I've worked with clients with mental and physical disabilities. I am compasionate, patient and caring.

Hello, I have been a caregiver for 33 years. I have worked in a hospital and a nursing home and for hospice as an STNA. Also I have worked for several homecare companies and have been an independent caregiver since October, 2016. I truly enjoy being a caregiver because I feel I can make a difference in someone's life and that is very rewarding to me. I am very compassionate and caring and also, I am very honest and, dependable .

I am a very caring, responsible and respectful caregiver. I love to help those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help patients live life to their full capabilities and help them with their daily needs.

I am basically a "people" person who likes interacting with and helping others. I had my first taste of caregiving working as an aid in a nursing home when I was 21. I developed such a tight bond with the patients I cared for and was hooked. My ethics are simple- treat others the way I would like to be treated. My greatest accomplishment as a caregiver has been seeing that I have added to the quality of life of those I care for. I once cared for a lady and although she never complained, I sensed that she had lived a difficult life. As I was tucking her into bed one night,she looked up at me and told me that she had never had anybody treat her "so nice" in her whole life. That brought tears to my eyes.

I am an energetic and positive caregiver! My first patient was my grandmother who was a patient of cancer for 20 years. Since then, I wanted to be able to help loved ones be comfortable in their own home where they can enjoy alot of the same things they always have. I have a passion to care for those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the lessons learned by your patients and hearing the stories that make up their past!

I'm a very honest and outgoing person! I love to care for people, I am currently going to school to become a medical assistant. I've grown up wanting to be a nurse all my life, I enjoy helping others. I put all my hard worth and faith into my patients! I care about their well being and give each and everyone my sympathy. I don't have much experience as an Stna or CNA but I am certified both and have worked in a nursing home as a CNA. I've worked very hard to be where I am, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!
