Hello! My name is Summer I have spent the better part of the past 10 years teaching my kids at home, at ABLE Homeschooling Co-Op, and running a youth group out of my home. Now that my girls are entering high school I am looking for a way to put my heart and the skills I've acquired over the years to good use. Teaching at home has given me the unique ability to have unending patience and self guided diligence to go along with my many care taking abilities. I am relationship oriented and its my desire to build up and strengthen the heart with encouragement, just as much as it is to provide for the physical needs of those I care for. I will give the same level of care that I do for my own parents and family and am ready to dive in with support, to help, and go the extra mile in every possible way for you. I have experience in caring for people with Parkinsons, Diabetes and Dementia. I have done Blood pressure and blood sugar taking and tracking, medication management, insulin injections, walking and bathroom assistance, help with end of life, feeding, dressing, cooking and cleaning. My greatest asset is my ability to provide companionship, because this is more than a job to me, it's what I was born to do.
