I have been a Cna for 10 years. It kind of runs in the family actually. It started when I took care of my Dad the last years of his life. He had diabetes, Parkinson's, dementia, kidney failure due to the diabetes, and some other medical conditions. I have always loved taking care of people. A good motto I go by is "quality over quantity". It is about the care, the smiles, and the little things with my patients/clients. Keeping them home as long as possible is always the goal.
