Hi, My name is Terry. I am very interested in meeting with you and your loved one. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a retired registered medical assistant. I worked for Mercy Health Center in the clinic settings with Drs. for many years. Our speciality was geriatrics. I love and learned so much empathy and compassion for the elderly. I have experience in private care. I have cared for numerous clients in their own homes and assisted living communities. I love caring for the elderly, as they solely depended upon me. At the end of the day I felt like I had earned a "trust" with those that I had built a sincere bond with. I believe that family is so important in their care with their loved one also. I've always had a good rapport with the families, as without family my job would not be complete. I have experience with clients of COPD, dementia/Alzheimer's, diabetes, CHF, stroke recovery, cancer patients and post surgery etc. Most importantly, I provide love and championship! I do light housekeeping. I assist with transfers, bathing/grooming, meal preparation, assist with walking, laundry, medication management, injections (if needed), dressing, incontinence management, shopping/errands, Drs. appointments and transportation. As I know the importance of having the right person and one whom you have complete trust in as they care for your loved one. I have very high standards myself. I am honest, reliable, have a background check on file, reliable transportation, fully insured with clean driving record. I have good references if needed, but would love to meet with you and your loved one at your convenience.
