Hello, I am Shannon Hawkins. I am 34yrs old and a single mother of two children; ages 11 and 7. I currently care for my mother who is on oxygen. By cooking, cleaning, and running errands. I work out and lift weights. Walking, running, stretching and home workouts as well. I am my families chef. I meal plan for myself and family members. Learned down south cooking from my grandmother and can make peach cobbler and sweet potato pie plus more. I love conversation and hearing about people's life stories. Learned how to play hun rummy from my mother at a young age. Very helpful around the house and love to put furniture together. Very kind and patient. My journey into Home Health, Hospice and Caregiving started unexpectedly and quite personally. My then 16-year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Fast forward 21 years. Although I enjoyed a very successful career as an IT Consultant, it was not emotionally satisfying. I am a caregiver at heart. I have cared for a young woman, now a young adult since her diagnosis with muscular dystrophy as a child. This is on an as-needed basis and she now enjoys independence in her own home. Working with my elderly families has been extremely rewarding. And caring for someone in their final season of life is something God put me on this earth to do. I raise an amazing teen granddaughter and she keeps me young at heart. Her love for pets keeps me on my toes with her two dogs, one cat and Waldo - her turtle. I am enrolling in the WINGS program and will receive my Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)/Home Health Aide Certification in fall of 2020. This will be immediately followed by their Medication Management Certification program. Although I have performed in these roles and more for two decades, I have only recently decided to accomplish these Certifications. *Note, Any overnight, weekend or holiday shifts will be on an exception basis only*

I always loved to help others and with the lost of my father I realized how hard the last few years with him was and how little help I had with the other pressures in life it took a toll so I quit my job to stay home with my dad and I seen the difference that hands on and love made with him and I knew then this was what I was meant to do in life share my love and compassion with others

Hello, and thank you for stopping by my profile here on carelinx. My name is Sarah Dobbins and I am dedicated to the care and wellness of your loved one. I got my start in elderly care at the young age of 10 years old. My parents built their own beautiful assisted living center when their parents needed that extra attention. They wanted to avoid the long hallways, strong odors, and seemingly lack of care and concern for our elders you often find in nursing homes. Your loved one is not a number among dozens to be dealt with. They are family, and I'm here to aid them in the sunset years of their life with authentic respect and compassion. After a service mission abroad where I volunteered at abused women's shelters, I obtained my license as a CNA and MAT and worked in health care communities in both Idaho and here in Oklahoma where I currently reside. I took a break to have 3 beautiful daughters and am excited to re-enter the workforce and develop connections and offer aid to your elderly again.

After finishing my Certification Nurse aid training, I have been a caregiver for 2 and a half years now. I know it doesn't seem like a lot of experience but I have worked with many different kinds of residents. I have trained at a Nursing home, but have found I like working one on one with residents. So I became a private home caregiver, I love connecting with the family and the resident. I am proud of doing the very best I can for my residents from the start of my shift until the end of my shift and I like to make sure they are okay and well before I leave. That's just a small summary about me.

I'm currently a stay at home mom, who cleans on the side. I clean my home, and care for all three of my kids needs. I'm ready to offer my services to others who need help with their needs. My mom worked in a nursing home when I was a kid and we loved going with her to visit the elderly. I'm an outgoing, caring person, putting others before myself.

I love caring for people in general I'm kind hearted. I enjoy helping out wherever I can, I'm reliable and very honest !

I have 6 years experience I love being able to help other and be able to do for them as well I have a great personality so my people skills are good I love seeing a smile on people faces and me being able to do so for others amazes me I'm personal achievement is starting something and finishing it no matter what it is seeing my kids happy and proud of me

I'm a Single Mother of three kids and I enjoy them. I also enjoy caring for other people as will I'm a people person I'm very caring in I have patience with caring for the older adults that need care I enjoy getting to know new clients and I love to cook and doing hair also I'm very good at anything I get my hands on in enjoy the need to help anyone because that's just my heart!

After nursing school, I worked @ nursing facility . I enjoyed very much caring for the elderly. After 10yrs, working I decided, to do private,work. I'm dependable trust worthy,& honest punctual. I care very much about my professional I have worked as a caregiver for 15 to 20 years.
