I just turned 23. I graduated high school in 2013. I started taking classes at Oklahoma city community college in 2014, but only a class here and there. The time I wasn't enrolled in school I was working full time. I truly started focusing on my education in 2016. I am currently enrolled at Oklahoma City Community College. My major is nursing and I will be applying to the nursing program offered in the spring 2019 semester which will be January 14, 2019. My father was a caregiver when he was younger. Since I am going into the nursing career, I think this would be a good place to start. My end goal is to be a nurse practitioner. Since I am paying for college myself, I am most proud of my grades and my 3.8 GPA.
Caregivers that work non-full-time jobs or irregular shifts can negotiate extra compensation in addition to their standard hourly wage.
