As a caregiver, I've always had a heart of service. I had received an Excellence In Action award from Union City Police for preforming CPR & First-Aid on a kid that had a pre-existing heart condition. I was taught CPR in a class that was mandatory for my job teaching Pre-K not knowing how soon I would have to use this new skill. But after that day, I realized how important it was to step up to the plate and be the one to take action. It has to be one of my most proud moments.
