I became an independent caregiver for the elderly/disabled in 2000. The tasks I would do for my clients would consist of cooking, assistance in bathing,washing,drying,folding/hanging laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, yard work pretty much whatever tasks the client may need help in doing. In 15 years I have been fortunate to have the clients I've had. I continued in the profession due to the satisfaction it gives me to offer helping hands to those in need. I'm a mother of 3 and caregiver is my #1 job. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
