Hi my name is Christina I am happy go lucky person. I'm reliable and fun and upbeat I'm sure to put a smile on your face if your having a bad day. I been a stay at home mom and all the kids are now out, and I can't wait to work with you, getting back to what I enjoy doing. I have a good 5 plus year outside the home of caregiver, it's something I enjoy just to put a smile on someone's face and helping them makes me happy. Some of my achievements are I raised 4 boys! Adopted my husbands boys 2 years ago . I did 3 years of Bible school that I'm proud of and have recently joined the prays and worship team at church along with the praye team.

After medical assistance, I learned so much about elders when I worked at living home and they need so much care and patients . I decided to work private to give full attention to one client. I treat everyone equal and care for them like a family. I love what I do.

After helping a family member through recovery from hip replacement surgery and then her struggles with developing dementia , I realized I found a deep satisfaction in providing much needed assistance to people facing personal physical challenges, whether temporary or long-term. I am compassionate, observant, warm, and responsive to individuals and families needing to recover and recharge, and make it my goal to be the beast part of a bad day. After facing some of my own personal challenges and overcoming a great deal of adversity, I returned to school as a adult learner and completed my degree before returning too the workforce.

I have taken care of several friends and family members from cancer to dementia. I pay close attention to their speech and their body language. For me being a caregiver is very rewarding. I know I'm helping a person out in need. I am very nurturing and empathetic. I love listening to other peoples stories about their life. I'm very friendly and outgoing.

Every day I have a personal achievement when caregiving. A personal achievement to me is when I am able to make life easier for someone or help them in someway that makes them smile. I love listening to folks wisdom and stories about their lives. I also love to share some of my wisdom and my life stories with folks also. I was attracted to being a caregiver when I realized just how many people out there I could help by being a caregiver. I am a compassionate, friendly, honest , and punctual person.

It is our duty as a community to care for each other especially the elderly whom have cared for so many during there life and so many of us forget this which creates unhealthy situations for the elderly needing care. Respect is not always taught to the younger generations and we need to be respectful to others and the environment we inhabit. I am good at listening and doing what is asked of me to the best of my ability, as well and seeing what needs to be done and doing it efficiently and effectively. I am grateful for any opportunity to be of service to others needs. I'm certified as a caregiver and assisted living manager. I'm a fast learner and can adapt to any situation with ease. My heart is pure and genuine.

Plus worked daycare. Worked in home care & in facilities for 14+ years or more. Been delegated by nurses no certificates.
