I truly think one of the absolute best things about me in my previous experiences as being a caregiver is I don't look at it like a paycheck. It's a family. I treat residents like they are my own family. What attracted me to being a caregiver was I heard people were being indecent to the residents so I applied to make sure they got treated the way they deserve. I truly know that's what I most enjoyed as a a caregiver because I knew if I was on the floor I knew the residents would have the love and care they needed. My personal achievement is the fact my residents felt the love they needed. It's crucial to family and friends to have a caregiver that cares. That's why I chose this profession when I was young. I'm good at it and the elderly get the care they deserve.
