I have been in the caregiving field for 6 years. What I believe makes me different than a lot of caregivers is my true and honest compasion for the line of work. For 2 years I was a Scheduling coordinator for an in-home company and one of my many roles was to hire and orientate new employees. I took pride in hiring the best caregivers to place into my clients home. If for any reason one of my employees couldnt make a shift or there was a last minute request, I offered my caregiver services to them because I understand the importance of needing someone there for mom or dad. From the In-home company I received an award at National Confernece's for 'Excellence in Caregiver Recruiting.' I am currently working at an Assisted Living, I love my residents and take extreme pride in my work ethic.
