About Pamela

Hello, my name is Pamela Summy. I am pleased to have an opportunity to introduce myself to you! I am a Seattle native, and have family in the area, which I visit frequently. I went to high school at Bishop Blanchet, and graduated from college at Seattle University. My focus in school was health, theology and psychology, which are all fascinating subjects for me, among many other areas of study. After college, I worked for Alaska Airlines as a Flight Attendant for a number of years. Having had a chance to have both schooling, and experience in Home Health Care, and in relevant areas of study, I feel I have some strong skills and also life experience, to bring to the workplace. I have been told that I am responsible, clean, dependable and timely, thorough, and honest. I am easy to get along with and have good listening skills. I recognize that I am there to support and assist as needed, and to have a good laugh together now and then, with whomever I have the opportunity to work with. My ability to be patient, compassionate and kind, brings me satisfaction and enjoyment in the role of Home Health Aide. My free time is often spent exercising, reading, cooking, socializing, taking day trips and I have a great love for animals. I am currently enrolled in American Healthcare CNA School, in Seattle, for weekend classes. Phone: 206.838.4094. The school is endorsed both by The Department of Social and Health Services and The Nursing Commission. I will graduate September 17th, 2017. My goal is to return to school and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science. Thank you for your consideration and time, in reviewing my application. And I very much look forward to hearing from you, as you are able and as it looks like we may be a good match! I have a number of letters of recommendation from prior employers to share upon request. Thanks again! Pamela
