About Kelley

My mission is to take care of you or your loved one by providing what is needed for in home care: Flexibility is key; I am happy to stay for6-12 hours or 24 for 3-4 days a week. Pets are not a problem. Light housekeeping is always part of my services. I enjoy cooking. Tell me what you want to eat, where your favorite recipes hide, and I will make it just the way you like, whatever sounds good at the time. Health care systems and Long Term Care Insurance programs can be complicated and it can help to have someone who knows how to navigate the maze of rules and paperwork. Send me on errands or have me make phone calls and do the filing. Need some help getting your longtime friends over for a visit? I can do it all. I have been an LMT for over 10 years and to preserve my hands from further abuse I have decided to add a 2nd profession of care giving. My personal and professional experiences have led me to this career path. I have been a hospice volunteer massage therapist for 3 years through Providence Home Health and a current sitting member of the Oregon State Board of Massage. Recently I was the Primary Caregiver that started at 10 hrs/day and ended at 24 hrs/day hospice care. As the Health Advocate for my father, after a stroke, I conferred with Doctors and Nurses creating best care plan and transition to a full-time care facility. With a holistic view of care, I am a firm believer in pet therapy for clients that have furry friends who may need a little TLC as well. I may not have the diploma of a CNA but I have been trained to be 1 as well as the experience to back it up! I have been privileged to be present for several Hospice patients and their families. It is always an honor to be able to provide experience, care and support during this trying time in people's lives. I am honest and trustworthy and enjoy what I do. Thank you for considering me for your family.

My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.
