About Carolyn

My career background is in education in which I have worked as a full-time teacher, professor, administrator. I recently took care of my mother in Oregon for 7 years who is soon to be 100 years old. I volunteer at the Senior Center and visit many at-home ill seniors. My daughters' father died of brain cancer this year and I was there to help him with loving kindness and hospice. I have a lot of love and enthusiasm for those needing care and have done so all of my life. As an educator I worked with seniors setting up and supervising classes for them at various locations, including nursing homes as well as bringing my trained small dogs to visit. I also worked with children with special needs. It is the caring of the individual whether an at risk young person or a senior. I am proud of working hard to receive my PhD, receiving numerous awards from various states as the outstanding teacher and administration because I was developing new programs for all types of classes for all ages, awarded the Orange County Mover & Shaker, and most importantly raising my two daughters to be very highly educated successful mothers and wives. I am a great listener and have the ability to discern the problem and answer from listening to others. Empathetic, loving, humane, honest, reliable, loyal, great attitude, fun, adventurous, and love pets. (I have two dogs.) Took to doctor's apts and maintained communication so that everything was done exactly as the doctor wanted, medications, proper nutrition to aid in the client's health improvement, bathing, washing bedding and clothes, feeding, help with walking, interface with hospice, grocery shopping and other errands, making sure breathing equipment was serviced, take blood pressure, companionship, take drives and any thing the client was capable of doing, play games, be cheerful and always happy to help.
