I am a Devoted caregiver competent in residential homes and in home care. I have resisted in Caregiving for six years. Along with medication Aide for two years. Caregiving is the act of providing help and comfort to another person. It can involve many different activities, such as grocery shopping; help with dressing, eating, toileting; or providing emotional support to another person while they navigate a physical, emotional, or health challenge.

I have been in the medical field for 15 years. I consider myself a very patient, compassionate, and caring person. I have learn a lot from my clients' life experiences, which I cherish dearly. I like to cook, bake, like to read to my clients, and love to involve them to stay active. I can provide references of happy previous clients.

Caring or care is a special call. Its a responsibility we are given to be with vunerable human beings. Being patient and learning each clients needs. I take time to learn each individual. I cultivate a relationship and try to understand who they are.

My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.

I am an outgoing person, I am passionate about many things in life. I became a CNA (certified Nurses Assistant) in 2015 after the passing of my mom in 2011. I truly enjoy taking care of others and helping them out in anyway that I can. I love learning about who my client/patient/resident was before and who they are now. I driven to make sure that I am doing my best and giving my all every single day. Making sure that all needs are met and no task is left undone. I take pride in my work.

I love taking care of people and helping families with their day to day needs with their loved ones. I have over 20 years of experience working in the medical field with both seniors and developmentally challenged individuals in their homes and in care home settings. I have over 5 years of hospice experience and handle each individual with the same love and compassion as I would for one of my family members. Caring for others enriches my life and the ones I'm caring for.
