Hello, I am a mature woman who fell into caregiving to help a friend and discovered I love it. I began with senior care for an elderly man who became a very good friend before he passed. I am patient, kind and reliable and a good conversationalist! I am also fairly well read and traveled. I enjoy being with older folks because I love to hear their stories and am happy to take care of them when they are at their most vulnerable. I have also begun to look after little ones, which I find equally engaging, and it reminds me of bringing up my own twin daughters whom I homeschooled. I think this is the work I do best.
