I am 38 years old and have been providing care since I was young. I first started out assisting my mom with care she provided for disabled family members. And when my mom became ill in 8th grade, I assisted with all of her care until she passed when I was 20 years old. From their I have worked doing in home care, facility care, and group home care. I am a caring, compassionate, and hardworking. I love being a caregiver, their is no better feeling then knowing that you can make someone's day brighter by being there for them wether it be to assist with daily ADL's, to meal preparation, to just being a companion. I would have to say my favorite part about being a caregiver is the difference and impact you make on people's lives.
