As a caregiver, my main goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to those who are in need of support. My role goes beyond simply tending to their physical needs; I also strive to create a warm and nurturing environment where individuals feel safe and valued. My approach to caregiving is rooted in empathy and understanding. I believe in taking the time to truly listen to the needs and concerns of the person I am caring for, and to provide support in a way that is tailored to their unique situation. Whether it is assisting with daily tasks such as bathing and dressing, or simply providing a listening ear, I am dedicated to ensuring that those under my care feel respected and cared for. In addition to providing hands-on care, I also see myself as an advocate for the individuals I work with. I am committed to ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support, and will go above and beyond to advocate for their needs and preferences. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and providing emotional support to those who may be feeling vulnerable or isolated. I am dedicated to fostering a sense of community and companionship, and strive to create meaningful connections with those I care for. Overall, my role as a caregiver is deeply rewarding and fulfilling. My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.

I have over 20 years of experience working in the medical field with both seniors and developmentally challenged individuals in their homes and in care home settings. I have over 5 years of hospice experience and handle each individual with the same love and compassion as I would for one of my family members. Caring for others enriches my life and the ones I'm caring for. I look forward to the smiles everyday and I take pride in the little things that make them feel comfortable while being cared for by someone who's not family.
