About Anastasia

Hello my name is Anastasia and I am a mother of two beautiful girls. I became a caretaker shortly before I had my first daughter as more of a means to an end income wide and fell in love with helping people. I have dabbled in a few other professions but have always come back to helping and taking care of others. As a teen I became sick and could not walk for about a year. With a lot of hard work and a dedicated medical team I was able to regain my mobility back which has given me a great insight on how people who need care feel while they are in their time of need. I feel that my experience has given me the patience needed to allow others the right amount of time to grow and heal themselves. One thing I do love about my job and feel the most proud of is the fact that I am very into taking care of the whole individual not just their ailment. So in tern I tend to find little drastic changes that others miss and, with my own experience in mind, I am able to better understand the feelings of those who do not like having the extra help. I believe that everyone has their own story and just because of either an ailment or old age that story does not just end. It its my duty as a caretaker to help that person continue that story and live their best life the best they can. Why else would anyone want to be a caretaker.

My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.

I have been in this field for many years not only talking care of my in laws, but also talking care of other people's grandparents and family. I currently have been working for a agency where I do in home care I truly love it. I love bringing smiles to people's faces. love getting to know the client one on one, working with them in there home, facility or wherever they are. I'm compassionate, hard working love to see people smile then I know I'm doing a wonderful job at the end of the day. I love knowing at the end of the day I was able to help that person and make a difference in there life's and brings joy to mine for knowing I made that happen. I'm reliable, always on time, willing to try new things and just make a difference in a older persons life.
