I became a caregiver back in 2013 during college. I worked at a group home, where I served adolescents with unique and challenging disabilities. I enjoyed my job because no matter what challenges I faced, I was always able to learn more and adapt to the needs of each resident. A good caregiver does what needs to be done, but a great character invests in the individuals and makes adjustment suited for them. I take pride in being a great caregiver. At this point in my life, one of my greatest accomplishments is graduating from Western Oregon University in June 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science in Community Health Education. Currently, I'm retaking a few classes with a goal to apply for Accelerated Nursing Programs next Fall.
