Hello! I have been a CNA for two years and have worked in both facility and in-home care settings. I have lots of experience caring for individuals with a wide variety of needs, including individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's. I am fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. I am both professional and compassionate, and want to provide quality care for your loved one(s). I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity! These are my core values that heavily influence my care as a CNA. I have worked in two skilled nursing facilities and have experience with in-home care, and found value in both. However, I think that I prefer to work with individuals or couples in their own homes because I thoroughly enjoy providing help that allows people to continue to live in their own space. Research has shown that elderly adults, and really anyone, tend to recover better and with fewer complications within their own home as compared to a hospital or clinical setting. Being a part of the home care process is fulfilling to me because I have seen how meaningful it truly is for someone to be able to receive care in the safety and comfort of their home. I want to continue to help make that possible for others! Everyone's needs are different, and their care should be adapted to what works best for them. In my two years of caregiving experience, I can confidently say that person-centered care that is tailored to each person's needs and personality is what I strive to provide. I am flexible with my hourly rate depending on the type of care needed, and am open to discussion on this. I am also 3X vaccinated and will respect your views on this.
