I am a very positive person and bring a light and warm energy everywhere I go. I have faith that we all have a purpose and mine is to be a healer and an uplifter. With my Reiki Certificate I have learned the value of harnessing peaceful and healing energy and I see the shift in my clients when they see me. I personally healed from Fibromyalgia through diet and reiki, when that happened in 3 months after having chronic pain since I was 14 (due to a major car accident) I knew that I could help guide others to perfect health and demonstrate my own capacity to hold space for others to heal and feel very hopeful. I'm punctual and very compassionate, my friends would say that I am the one that they go to during times of need. I also facilitate an Empowered Women's Group that guides other's to their true life's purpose and gives steps on how to bring their dreams of being a healer into fruition. I teach that living a life of purpose is very fulfilling and can become a career. I think the most enjoyable part of being a caregiver is seeing the change in others, knowing that they are supported and have a compassionate companion who is willing to go the extra mile to make their life easier. I enjoy it so much! My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is coming into my own perfect health in order to assist others in healing themselves. It's a gift that I am very grateful for, I truly believe that the more you overcome the more you have the ability to show others that what people may say cannot be healed very well can. I am living proof!

I am a Reiki practitioner and empath/intuitive and I own an intuitive healing business where I counsel individuals to reach their highest healing potential through hands on healing and divine guidance using my psychotherapy and counseling background. I have helped people in hospice care and I also help clients heal from physical injuries and illnesses (such as cancer, a torn mcl, and people with chronic pain or ailments like fibromyalgia). I also guide people to come into alignment with their perfect health, happiness and passion in life by listening to their own intuitive spirit and inner healing mechanisms. I also have a background in launching businesses, building websites, writing blogs and creating youtube content, as I'd done this for my own businesses and for some of my clients!

In Point of View, a women's clothing department of Nordstrom, my duties were to provide amazing customer service, a high touch experience, where they come in and know that they are coming to see a person who knows and is passionate about fashion and helping people! While working there my duties have almost gone into the personal stylist realm, as in my department I am known to take customers all over the floor to find them just what they need for their wardrobe upgrade, upcoming interviews, and business trips. I like to go above and beyond and bring110% of my passion into whatever I do. While working at Nordstrom I had acquired a handful of regulars who come in to shop with me! My passion is to put people in something that reflects who they truly are and to keep them coming back. My other duties were being responsible for opening and closing the registers, managing my "bar" time (which is making sure that the stock acquired from the fitting rooms is run back to the floor and sized), fulfilling DTC's, sizing down my section of the department at the end of each shift and when closing, making sure that the department looks good and all of the duties are completed. I also was closing night manager at times when the department needed a leader when the management team was not able to be there. I'm very much a team player, goal oriented and like to get tasks done. I was hired seasonally and was kept on until my business picked up after my move to Mesa, Arizona.

Homeinstead Senior Care

I worked part-time for HomeInstead Senior Care to gain experience in caregiving and to use my reiki skills to ease patients minds and help facilitate healing. My duties at HomeInstead were to administer medicine to patients, run errands for them, help clean their houses, keep them company through companionship and friendship. One client was a hospice patient and I helped his spouse prepare meals and keep her comfortable as I took care of her husband. He did pass and I was present and I used my reiki hospice skills to help bring in soothing energy. I feel most fulfilled when I can help other people feel at ease. I work very well in staying very positive and calm during times that may distress others. It was a very peaceful experience and reinforced my love for caregiving. I also had a client who had Alzheimer's and I would help get her ready for bed and administer medicine, we also would watch her favorite movies and I helped her change and keep her feeling as comfortable as possible. It was a very rewarding experience. I've also gone to nursing homes to keep clients company and take them on errands, give them medicine and assist them with meal times. My true passion is to be of service to others and I particularly like working with elderly patients as I feel that it is the most rewarding work.

My duties at Pier One were to manage the sales team to achieve our sales goals, train associates on selling techniques through positive reinforcement and coaching, train new hires, set daily sales goals, meet and exceed weekly sales targets, open and close the registers, visually merchandise the store and set floor plans. I was one of the top sales leads in regards to selling the Pier 1 Credit Card and always met and exceeded my weekly sales targets! More importantly my passion at Pier One was in the area of visual arts and meeting with customers to individualize their decorating needs! I love decorating and guiding people to find their individual style and sometimes take them into another direction that they hadn't anticipated before!

Four years ago I retired from nursing. Recently, I moved to Phoenix Arizona to be near family. I have one married daughter in Phoenix where I presently reside, and another married daughter in Peoria. My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping.
