About Muneerah

I became a caregiver when a close friend needed help and he did have anyone. I moved my friend who was 88 at the time into my home. This was a six year relationship, where cared for him through major heart surgery and beginning alzheimers. He passed away peacefully at age 94. He had no living relatives. I enjoy seniors because we can learn alot from them, they are not bothered by things and they lived a simpler life. I enjoy hearing their stories. I am proud to have taken care of my friend who became a member of my family. I met another lady in new york and I helped her to be able to die at home. She had no one. The things I learned in the short four and a half years that lived and cared for her will be with me the rest of my life. I did not realize that I would become so attached to her. She became just like my mother who passed away in 2004. I will always remember her and the things she said to me. About myself, I am 58 this week, and after years in direct sales, I think that I enjoy caring for people and so this is what I want to do. My goal is to make someone smile and feel wanted. Each day try to make their day brighter no matter what their disability is.
