WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CAREGIVER? I have a very upbeat attitude. I am very caring, compassionate, patient and I have a huge heart. I stay professional while I am on the job and I take my role as a caregiver very seriously. I like to know the one I am assisting is comfortable and happy, if they are feeling down, I do what I can to make sure they are having a wonderful day and always have a smile on their face. WHY DID YOU COME A CAREGIVER? I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I grew up in the life of taking care of people. I have watched/helped my mom when she was working in the hospital. I assisted my grandmother in helping others in her community. I have babysat for many friends and family members. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A CAREGIVER? Its not that I like being a caregiver, I LOVE being a caregiver. Knowing I am making a difference in someone's life and helping them with anything/everything they need is the best. My goal is make sure that by the time my shift is over, they are smiling and happy. WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT YOU ARE PROUD OF?? my personal achievement I am very proud of was being told that I had made a big impact on two of the clients I was taking care of. I was informed when they were told I was coming on shift they would start smiling and make sweet comments about how I did my job and well I took care of them. Too me that was the sweetest thing and yet most rewarding part of my job.

At a young age I would take care of my grandparents and be there for my parents. I see myself as a caring person, very patient, I enjoy helping out, taking the time to listen and making peoples day. I'm a very positive person. I believe my personal achievement is when I see the client happy and being there.

My grandmother was on hospice when I was a young girl. I saw how grateful my grandmother was and how much her caregiver touched my Grandmother's life. Ever since I wanted to make a difference and touch the lives of others. I have been a CNA for three years now, and I take pride in taking care of others. I want to make a difference in the life of every patient that I see . I not only want to be there for the patient but for their family too.

I am native to the Willamette valley and have spent the last 7 years practicing in the wellness field. I have worked in a variety of care giving positions and have been drawn to working with seniors at various times. I appreciate being helpful to elders and assisting them with activities of daily living in a productive and charismatic way. I worked in the food service for 35 yrs needed to find something different. A friend needed someone to look after her husband after a car accsident worked for him for 2yrs then applied to the state of wa. & became a caregiver for the copes program I have worked for them for 7yrs. The wife &I are moving to toledo,or. in september & need to find work.& I like to work with the elderly.

Hi there! I'm Tara and I've been a care giver for 5 years. I am a team player, compassionate, always learning, and love helping others. Compassion is the most important quality when it comes to caring for others. I specialize in Senior care and have 2 years experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia. I've handled medications, ADL's, housekeeping, and strive to create relationships with my clients/family. I got my CNA (expired) when I was 17 in order to begin caring for others and start my experience with the medical field. I hope to finish my Masters in Health Administration at PSU. I am a very up beat out going person that devotes myself to make sure the person or people I am working with know that I am there for them and only for them that they are not a burden to me and that I do not except apologise because I am there to help them I love doing some fun activities if possible and have 5 great children to tell great stories about and love hearing all the stories and experiences
