I became a caregiver because it fufills my heart, mind , and soul. I get great satisfaction knowing that I can help keep a person safely and comfortably in their home. Meeting new people and their families has given me a lot of knowledge to use for the next job I am fortunate to receive. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I have been a CNA for the past 5 years, just shy of 6 years and love my job. I recently just worked at a hospital for a few years and had received so much experience I would love to share with you. I have worked in Rehabilitation, orthopedic/med. surg, nursing homes, palliative, Dementia/Alzheimer's, hospice, and much more. Being a CNA has brought so many opportunities to my life and I'm so thankful for that, along with the people I've met, the stories my patients have shared, and the things I've seen.

I have been in the healthcare field for over 10yrs starting as a homemaker, ending as an RN. I started my career in Hospice, have extensive experience in homecare, and even assisted in writing a textbook for Indian Health Care Workers.

I have been a caregiver for 35 years and love doing it. I dont think there is anything in the health care field that i havent done. I pride myself for being on time and trying to care for peoples loved ones as if they were my own. I try to stay with my clients as long as i am needed.

I am a 23 years young , and a happy person , very laid back , but also energetic at times. I am very loving , and caring . I love to make and see others happy , and smiling. I love to help people learn new thing when I can do so and to see them grow after getting the hang of the new skill they learned. I became a caregiver because I get to support and build bonds with great people who could use a little more help then others. I also became a care giver to learn new things about life rather its educational/historical or personal ( His-Story). The best part to me about being a caregiver is literary the bonds i get to make with my clients. Their the family you always wished you had , so just being able to bring just as much Joy into there life as they do mines will always be the best part of the job. One thing I can say that I am very proud of is becoming a caregiver , becoming a caregiver has tough me so much but patients has to be the #1 thing skill that i have learned that has effect me everyday positively and forever will.

Ever since i was a little girl i have been taking care of people. I started with my mom at age 9 and have always felt a need to care for people ever since. It has always been my passion. I would make a great home health care worker because i love working and caring for people and i really carw about the people i take care of and would treat them like i would treat my own family or how i would expect someone in my career to treat my loved ones. I am very dependable, flexible and have open availability.

I enjoy taking care of my residents and love the experiences. My favorite thing about being a caregiver, is the interacting and connection I receive from all my residents, good and bad. My personal achievement and something about myself is that, I'm raising 3 kids on my own and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I'm very blessed.
