I've always been a caregiver. My little brother was born when I was 3yrs. Old and I've taken care of him and my mothers other children as well, as well as my own mother. I never minded though I was good at it and it made me feel good. I love being around the elderly. I believe they don't always get the love and respect that they deserve. I am very proud to be a nursing assistant as well as a certified Activity Director. I've also completed some of my LPN classes & I intend to finish the rest of my classes. I am a loving and respectful person. I actually love working in the elderly community. While employed as an Activity Director, I implemented many new & wonderful programs such as; Second Wind Dreams, Ribbons & Rhythms, and Adopt A Heart, Dementia Training for myself and I taught this program to other staff members.
