I became a caregiver because I realized I listened to peoples needs and wanted to help improve the quality of their lives. I enjoy when someone is content with the quality care I provide them. I enjoy taking people’s health into my hands and being successful, by keeping them at their optimal health. What a great caregiver means to me is to be able to show empathy and compassion toward the clients and families that I work with. By taking the time to fully understand my patient's needs and giving them the patience to work through their rehabilitation at their own pace, I show them that I care about them and that I want to do what I can to help them. I become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I love helping the individuals and their families to create the tailored care that is needed. I also enjoy working with the elderly in overcoming the difficulties associated with their health issues and helping them maintain their highest level of Activities Daily Living. One of my personally favorite achievements I'm proud of was helping one of my post-surgery clients at home with PT and OT; and enabling her to walk with a cane again instead of being restricted to a wheelchair.

I have worked as a private home health care provider for seniors for over 22 years. Being a caregiver is not for everyone but I can say this is my calling in the past 22 years. Personally i have empathy and compassion to people with various condition like,pple with disability due to impairement,sickly pple who need my assistance. I have been a caregiver for 20 years: I joined a full-time church ministry and was ordained as clergy. I served as a hospital chaplain for five years in my clergy position. When offering spiritual and moral support to my patients, I discovered I could be involved in extended care. I provided personal hygiene and bathroom services to my patients as a chaplain.
