I became an LPN because of my love of people. My want to help those in need of care was very passionate. After nursing with younger women, I wanted to go back to geriatrics, which I did as a nursing assistant while in nursing school. There is a lot to learn from the elderly. My own mother died of Alzheimer's and this became a passion of mine. I hope I can continue to do this on a part time basis.
