I started caregiving primarily as just a temporary way to make bills, but I have fallen in love with it. I truly appreciate the opportunity to care. To help people in the ways they need most. Getting to know patients is a joy and every day I look forward to going to work. Every person I care for is different, and so the bond is different, but a bond always forms. I have been humbled by how much seniors and their families truly appreciate and look forward to my help and presence. I have two and a half years of experience with an in-home agency as well as nursing homes. I look forward to placing my experience and training at the service of your family.

My greatest strength as a caregiver is the sincere compassion that I will devote to your loved one. My first experience in geriatric care came when my grandparents became ill and required a hospice nurse. Taking on that role allowed me to develop an intimate understanding of the personal needs of my patients, foremost among them being the dignity and respect with which I believe every human being has an inherent right to recieve throughout the later stages of life. I was honored to help facilitate a hospice plan that allowed my grandparents to live and ultimately pass away in the home that they shared together, regardless of their advanced illness. I am proud to say that I am staunchly committed to bringing the same level of dedicated quality of care to all of my patients. I treat each individual under my care as if they were my own family, and pledge to do more than simply attend to their physical and ambulatory needs - I always ensure that my charges are given attention and conversation; kept engaged in activities and pastimes that they enjoy in order to promote a happy and fulfilling lifestyle in spite of their individual limitations. Working with the elderly is a constant reminder to me that there's no acceptable reason that people shouldn't be empowered to live well and retain as much independence as possible as they age. I welcome any challenges that circumstances may present. I hope to be given the opportunity to devote my love and unwavering support to your loved one, to share my outgoing personality and love of life with them, to foster a safe and healthy environment for them, and to have fun as well!
